3 Hours Before Flight Time
We will welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport upon your arrival and transfer you to the hotel for the overnight stay. Our representative would be at airport to receive you please look for the placed card having your name.
Today we will spend most of our day sightseeing around some of the world heritage sites of UNESCO inside Kathmandu valley. Most importantly we will complete all the necessary paper works and make other preparations required for Langtang Gosaikunda Trek.
You will start early bus journey to Syabrubesi which the beginning point of the trek. The roadway trip behind Trisuli Bazaar is tricky as the road are grungy. During the travel you will pass through many small villages, different landscapes which will be will be intriguing. Overnight in Syabrubesi.
We would be moving along suspension bridge and head steadily along a stream. The River we are following is primarily the Langtang River. We can enjoy the walk going through lush forests (oak, rhododendron and bamboo forests and where we can find abundance of wildlife like yellow-throated martens, wild boars, langur monkeys, red pandas and Himalayan black bears . Overnight in Lama Hotel.
We start our journey after having early morning breakfast. We continue our trails along dense forests. Sights of Langtang Lirung is breath taking. We would be passing by water mills, prayer wheels, chortens, with sacred hills of rocks with inscriptions carved on them. Also pass the largest mani wall in Nepal, made from stone with prayers written on them. Cross several of the wooden bridges.
Trek for three hours which leads us to Kyangjin (3870m) from Langtang Village. The trail soars gradually through small villages and yak pasturage as the valley opens out further and the views become more vivid. After crossing several small streams and glaciars, the trail reaches the settlement at Kyangjin. We should arrive at Kyangjin by lunch time allowing time to acclimate and explore the area. There is a dramatic scenes where we would find snow covered peaks surrounding us in all directions. At this point, you can enjoy the panoramic view of Langtang Ri (6370m.) Dorje Larpa (6990m.), Langtang Lirung (7245m and so on.
Rest and free day at Kyanjin Gompa for necessary acclimatization before ascending towards holy Gosainkund, optional short hike or climb a hill for more better and wonderful views of Chimsedang Lekh, the Kangjal Himal, Naya Kanga at 5,844 m, Ganchenpo 6,387m, Dorje Lakpa 6,990 m, Pemthang Karpo Ri 6,830 m, Langtang Lirung 7,245m .
Early morning after breakfast, proceed to Lama Hotel. It is 6/ 7 hours walk from Kanjin Gompa to Lama Hotel. The trail goes all the way descending the downhill through forest following the river. Pass through the ethnic Tamang village whose religious and cultural practices are similar to the Tibetans.
After an hour of morning walk our route diverts to a place at Bamboo with few lodges, after a nice break here walk continues with a climb uphill through farm terraces of millets, corns and wheat’s, once leaving the farming area walk leads over the landslide sections, then reaching to a lovely village for overnight stop at Upper or Thulo Syabru, the houses around here are attached together on long line like a chain.
We take the comprehending trail climbing up to Dimsa village and the trial continues to Shin gomba which are less steeply, through rhododendron, hemlock and Oak forests. On the way of trek we will witness glorious views of Langtang Himala and langtang valley. Shin gomba is another popular place for Cheese. Over night in Shin gomba.
The trail ascends smoothly through rhododendron forested area. The area in-between Shin gomba and Laurebina Yak is a sanctuary for the red panda, an endangered species. We return to the ridge path and climb a wider route through alpine country to arrive at a Gosainkunda. We explore around the Lakes and overnight in Gosainkund .).
Today is a bit challenge day; the trail is climb, rough and crosses glacial. Passing three more small lakes, the trail ascends and crosses Laurebina La (4,609m/15,121ft) after the pass, the path down to phedi and we continue walk up and down throughout crossing a rocky hill with pine, rhododendron trees. Overnight in Gopte.
We slide down through rhododendron forest area and climb through a dry river-bed to arrive at a Kharka. We climb through the forest to arrive at the village of Thare Pati. Climbing the ridge directly above the village gives us a marvelous view of the Jugal area. Cross the village and enter a forested area, again descending to Melamchi River followed by yet again climbing to the Malemchigaon for overnight.
Morning walk starts with a nice incremental path into a nice woodland for few hours, and then the trail winds up ahead. After a nice rest journey continues with a descend most of the way to Kutumsang village, the walk is nice into lovely woodlands till Kutumasang village for overnight stop after a good walk of about six hours.
Early in the morning we trek from Kusumtang to Chisapani. Chisopani village, a scenic place situated on the top of a hill close to Kathmandu valley and on route to Langtang and Helambu with 5-6 lodges. This scenic spot offers the majestic views of Langtang- Jugal Himal, Ganesh Himal-Manaslu and Annapurna range towards west.
After catching the gorgeous sunrise over the snowed mountains, morning walk leads through serene forest and farmlands on the gentle descend, towards traditional Tamang villages of Burlang and Chepu Bhanjyang at 2,438m with a great views of Kathmandu Valley, the walk continues on the downhill trail most of the way to a beautiful spot at Sundarijal.
Our trip to Nepal ends today. We will be dropped off at the airport by a company representative 3 hours before the scheduled flight.
